Journal history
The journal «Izvestiya of Saratov University. New Series. Series: Mathematics. Mechanics. Informatics» (ISSN 1816-9791) became a separate periodical in 2005. It had been preceded by the journals: «Izvestiya of Saratov University. New Series» (ISSN 1814-733X) (2001-2004), «Scientific Notes of Saratov State University» (1923-1962), «Izvestiya of Emperor Nikolay University»(1910-1918).
