On the Complex Dynamics in Simplest Vibrational Systems with Hereditary-Type Friction

The dynamics of a number of vibrational systems, accounting for the forces of hereditary-type dry friction and a vibration limiter, are studied in the paper. The interaction between the vibration limiter and the vibrational system is assumed to obey Newton's hypothesis. A general mathematical model has been developed, which is a strongly nonlinear non-autonomous system with a variable structure. The dynamics of the mathematical model is studied numerically-analytically, using the mathematical apparatus of the point mapping method.

A Model for Forecasting Characteristics of Floods Affecting the Value of the Caused Damage

According to GOST (State Standard) characteristics of floods are selected that have influence on the extent of damage. Forecasting of such characteristics will improve the efficiency of liquidation of floods effects. On the basis of formal apparatus of system dynamics that takes into account the casual relationships between modeled variables a mathematical model is developed to forecast characteristics of floods. A graph of cause-effect relations that exist between modeled characteristics is constructed.

The Formulation of the Mathematical Model Deep-Water of the Oil Raiser, Interacting with Internal Flow of Gas-Liquid Mixture

A new mathematical model for calculating the characteristics of a stress-deformated state of a deepwater raiser that interacts with an inner two-phase stream of the gas-liquid mixture, is formulated. The singular-disturbance type problem of nonlinear hydroelasticity is being solved.

Models of Information K-Channels with Memory

Analysis of non-binary (K-ary, K > 3) information channels (IC) with memory as complex stochastic structures is rather complicated mathematically. Of significant interest is the synthesis of simplified mathematical models for such channels that allow clarifying relatively simply the most important regularities occurring in real processes. Modeling of IC (K-channels) with memory is a vital problem that has both theoretical and practical importance.
